Zen’s Jack recently visited The Curtain, London to take a look at what this Shoreditch venue had to offer.
With 120 rooms and suites and 6000 square feet of event space, it’s a fantastic venue for those looking for somewhere special in one of the capital’s most creative districts. Jack checked out some of the spaces suitable for meetings and events and was not disappointed…
First up was LIDO – based in The Curtain’s rooftop, this Moroccan themed restaurant offers great food, incredible views, a working area and a pool. It’s perfect for those looking to find a relaxed space to work overlooking the city, and even has a retractable glass roof for those warmer summer days. It’s open only to hotel guests and Curtain’s members, offering options for exclusivity.
Another member’s only area was Billy’s – this wood-panelled bar is one of East London’s best kept secrets, and offers a plush, relaxed atmosphere. It’s impressive cocktail list and bar bites would elevate an evening event to one of sophistication and class.
LP is The Curtain’s party hub. Successor to Studio 54, it’s played host to some of the industry’s best musicians, and has a packed line up of big names artists, cabaret and club nights. It would also be a fantastic space for a private event
Jack also had the chance to visit The Curtain’s ultimate suite – the aptly named Curtain Suite. This 95-meter squared suite offers the ultimate in luxury accommodation, but in itself is also large enough to host small-scale events or meetings.
The Curtain has a wealth of options for meetings and events, and would make a fantastic venue. If you’d like to find out more about it or other similar venues, please get in touch. We’d be happy to find the perfect venue for your next event.
